
The well-travelled veteran is pleased with the move and thinks he will spend the rest of his career in Turkey.
Insua joins the Turkish champions from Mexican outfit Club America, though he spent the last season on loan with Boca Juniors, and went on to admit that the lure of Champions League football was too much to resist.
“I would like to thank my new team-mates and coach for their title success and helping me compete in such a prestigious competition,” he said.
“This is the reason I am here. It's a dream to take part in the Champions League for every player and my dream came true.”
"I have played in three different countries besides Argentina before, but I think it will be quite different in Turkey with Bursaspor. I believe I will hang up my boots here,” the 30-year-old told Uefa.com.
